Virgo Shaka

Virgo Shaka, Gold Saint, a character from Saint Seiya.

The purpose of this illustration was to recreate the style of the anime (Shingo Araki's one to be specific) instead of the manga (Masami Kurumada's style). It was done using the exact same software Japanese animation studios use, the RETAS Suite.

This illustration was also used as the official poster for the First Seminar in Japanese Animation (Primer Seminario de Animación Japonesa de Valencia), in Valencia, Spain:
